Microsoft Word Toolkit
The Microsoft Word toolkit for Arcade enables LLMs to create, read, and edit Word documents stored in OneDrive via the Microsoft Graph API.
Capabilities
- Document creation: Create new
.docxfiles in OneDrive with optional initial text content (4 MB upload limit). - Document retrieval: Fetch document metadata and/or content from
.docxfiles; content is returned as Markdown by default. - Document editing: Append text to the end of existing
.docxfiles (4 MB limit). - User context: Retrieve information about the authenticated user and their Microsoft Word/OneDrive environment.
OAuth
This toolkit authenticates via OAuth 2.0 using Microsoft as the identity provider. See the Arcade Microsoft auth provider docs for setup details, required app registrations, and permission configuration.
